*For Hot Water Beach, we will provide up to two spades per group for your convenience free of charge.
**While taking only a few minutes, the ferry crossing offers lovely views of town, the bay and the estuary, and it saves you the 45-minute drive to Whitianga. The ferry fare is not included in the tour price and must be paid directly on the ferry ($5.50 oneway per adult as of April 2024)
***The boat trip from Hahei to Cathedral Cove and back is only available during the summer months, and cannot be included in the 4-hour version of this tour.

What is the difference between M202L and M202S?

Both tours take the same route and have the same inclusions, offering you the best of our scenic highlights.

M202L - The Full Experience:
This longer version of the two allows for more time to wander around and enjoy the scenery. It includes ample time at Hahei to either take the boat trip to Cathedral Cove and back or enjoy extended walks at your own pace, or just relax on the beach or soak in the atmosphere of Hahei village.

M202S - The Compact Adventure:
The shorter tour, M202S, is designed for travelers with less time who still want to experience as much as possible. While you won't feel rushed, time is a bit limited and not sufficient for long walks. This tour ensures you get a taste of the beauty and variety the region has to offer in a more condensed format.
