ACC approved travel by Whitianga Tours and Taxi

If you are an ACC client, you can request to use our taxi service, because we are a registered transport supplier for ACC. If approved, it will be fully covered by ACC.

If you can't drive as a result of your ACC claim, or need to get to medical appointments related to your ACC claim but have no means to get there, talk to your ACC case manager and request them to contact us regarding your travel needs. Or call us first, and we will help you with the process.

Examples of what we can do for you include taking you to doctor's appointments, rehab, physio etc, also to mental health services or sometimes even to the nearest hospital, if no other transport is available.

We also cover "companion service", including such help as picking up your child from after school sports, doing shopping for you, or picking up a prescription from the pharmacy.
